LUMINA POLICIES

Answers to questions that guests frequently ask.

PAYMENT

Accounts may be paid with Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, or personal cheque.. Rates subject to change.

DEPOSIT POLICY

A $300.00 deposit per accommodation is required to book a reservation.
Deposits are credited to accounts on the confirmed departure date. If you have to cancel the reservation, the deposit will be refunded, less a $50.00 service and
bookkeeping charge, provided that we have been notified 2 weeks prior to arrival date. (As is the policy with most resorts.)

Guests who depart prior to their confirmed departure date will forfeit their deposit. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application, or to terminate any reservation at any time. No discount for missed meals.

TAX & GRATUITIES
Rates are subject to 13% H.S.T. and a 6% Resort Fee

EXCHANGE ON US FUNDS
We accept U.S. funds at current premiums.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations by phone only please. Please ask for Vicki if you are booking a wedding.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 4 pm. Check-out time is 10 am. If you are checking in mid-week we may be able to get you in earlier than 4 pm. Please give us a call.

BOAT RESERVATIONS
1/2 Day rentals are 9:00a.m. to 1:00 pm. OR 1:00pm to 5:00 pm.

Full day rentals are 9:00am to 5:00pm

Weekly rentals run from 9:00am Sunday to 5:00pm Friday

Oil, Gas and applicable taxes are extra. Boats are rented with full tank of gas and must be returned FULL. A $15.00 fee plus price of fuel is added if boats are returned unfilled.

Damaged equipment is the renter’s responsibility, a waiver must be signed.

Rental equipment must be parked from dusk till dawn.

A Credit card deposit of $1000 is required on rental of boats over 15HP for non Lumina guests. The operator is required by law to have a currant boat operator card.

WiFi

Free in Main Lodge areas.  Ask at the front desk for the Wifi password.

PETS
Regretfully there are no pets permitted at Lumina Resort. There is a local pet-boarding facility which we are happy to recommend.

RESORT DRESS CODE
Casual resort attire. No bare feet or bathing suits in the Dining Room.

SMOKING
We provide a non-smoking environment.  There is no smoking permitted in all guest rooms, cottages and main lodge areas.
